Bumbo seat: Is it worth it?

Photo from http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3433615
Has anyone used a Bumbo Seat for their baby? Luke is 3 months old and wants to be sitting upright most of the time, but the baby seats we have for him are reclining.  I did not have one of these with Gabe, so we have never tried one out.  They cost around $40 which seems like a lot for a baby seat that will only be used a couple of months.  I guess I am wondering if it is worth it? What are your thoughts?

In my opinion it is totally worth it. I have one for Grant and it has come in very handy. I did buy mine used for $15. You should check KSL or craig's list or ask around and see if anyone is wanting to sell their's. Grant is over 7 months and we still use ours multiple times a day. It has a sturdy, wide base so you can put it anywhere (on the table, counter, dryer, outside), We don't own a high chair so I put Grant in the bumbo to feed him solids. It works great for now. Hope this helps.

I love our bumbo seat! You should totally get one. Maybe get a used one to save money. I used it alot when Maddie was little to feed her baby food and just let her sit up. And at 2 years old, Maddie STILL sits in it for fun! She also uses it as a booster seat at the table. She is very small, so obveously most 2 year olds can not still fit in their bumbo seats, but Maddie can and loves ours!

I never tried one, so I can't really say. But have you ever been to Kid to Kid? (Stores in Lindon, AF, and Provo.) They may have some used ones for sale.

Get one! I love it, Logan is 6 months now and I use it daily. He just wants to be a part of what is going on.

We have one. Ryan doesn't love it, but will sit in it for about 5 minutes. He likes his high chair better. But I've heard wonderful things about them and maybe our next kiddo will like it more than Ryan. I like it though.

Yes, they are great. I even used it to feed Lily when she first started solids. Very handy and cheap if you can find a used one. They are a bit spendy new.
